Common…Who Do You think You're Talking To?
                                                                             By Joe Hoffman

What a great week! President Obama is away, probably working on his sales pitch for government health care, (who cares about China brandishing nuclear weapons, Iran building nuclear weapons, or any other threat to the United States) and Vice President Biden is "unleashed!"
Vice-President Biden has stepped in to fill the gap of presidential leadership by taking personal credit for the "success" of the administration's $787 billion stimulus package. In a speech at the Brookings Institution, where Mr. Biden employed the personal pronoun; "I" at least a dozen times, he proclaimed that the stimulus has worked better than they (Obama administration) had planned!
Better than planned?!? Let me get this straight: We, the American people were told by the President that the stimulus package needed to be passed as soon as possible, (without even reading the entire bill…after promising to go through "every line" of the bill) so that unemployment would not exceed eight percent. As of today, unemployment is at nine, point seven percent…the highest in twenty six years!
So…when they were telling us that if the stimulus would stifle unemployment at eight percent…they really expected unemployment to rise to somewhere more than eight percent…maybe somewhere around ten percent or more? This MUST be the case if Vice-President Biden is proclaiming that the stimulus is more successful than they expected!
Ladies and gentlemen…when a person says things that are not true, this is called a LIE! The big question is; why does this government feel as though they can simply wonder around saying basically anything that they want and we will believe it? Do they think we are that stupid? I believe the answer is….YES!!

In addition, we have the green jobs czar; Mr. Van Jones, who was number 46 in the "Truther Movement," which suggests that people in the Bush Administration "may indeed have deliberately allowed 9/11 to happen, perhaps as a pretext to war," states that; "I do not agree with this statement and it does not reflect my views, now, or ever."  "NOW OR EVER?"
So, even though Mr. Jones obviously signed-on to this view, he didn't really believe in what he was doing? So…should we believe anything he says even though his own actions state otherwise? He apparently expects us to! Do you detect a pattern here? Does it not seem like everybody in this government does one thing and then blatantly lies to the American people and expects us to believe it? Moreover, when the masses of average people are pushed to the point where they have had enough and then take to the streets for "tea parties" and participation in town hall meetings, they are labeled "Nazis" and "mobsters" by our ELECTED REPRESENTATIVES!!
Might it be that the useless, corrupt hypocrites who now make up the U.S. Congress are becoming angry because most of us object to their intentions to RULE us as opposed to serving as representatives of their constituents?
